Honing / Honed Finish

This process and finish gives the stone a warmer, more natural look and feel. Through refinishing techniques such as diamond honing and machine burnishing, the stone is given a uniform patina finish. Honing also removes the inconsistencies that most commonly appear on travertine and limestone (i.e. a chalky appearance). A honed finish is much more practical in terms of care and maintenance. We can manipulate our process to achieve the finish you desire.
